It began business marketing an innovative type of Direct Vent kerosene
fired, wall furnace. Monitor heating systems eliminated infiltration
of cold air due to the "pipe within a pipe" venting system. Monitors
quickly became a sought after solution due to the high cost of electric heat.
Primary dwellings, vacation homes, workshops, and many other applications
created the unique market dominated by Monitor direct vented heating
systems.
